A Record of Service
This morning, Commissioner Paul Elizondo passed away at his home. His passing was unexpected. The 83-year old San Antonio native had just celebrated the Christmas holiday with his family. Details of his funeral services will be forthcoming. During this difficult time, the Elizondo family is asking for privacy and prayers. It has been my privilege to serve you as County Commissioner. Since you first elected me, I have always worked to make our community a better place to live as well as a community we are proud to call our home.
I have done my best to ensure that county government serves you by improving the quality and expanding the accessibility of healthcare, creating opportunities for a brighter future for our children and grandchildren and helping our neighborhoods and families prosper.
Together we have accomplished a lot, but there is still much more that needs to be done. I commit to each and everyone of you that I will continue working tirelessly to make county government responsive to you. You have my word on it.
I respectfully ask for your vote in the upcoming Democratic Primary and allow me to continue my life’s work of serving our community.
